Sliding Scale & Community Pricing

This sliding scale is designed to offer broader access to my services while acknowledging the very real and systemic inequalities around class, income, and economic access in our culture.

Out of love and responsibility, I am called to this work as a way of honoring the dignity and worth of people across all walks of life. A sliding scale is not a discount system, it is a community care practice rooted in trust, honesty, and shared accountability.

For this model to work, it relies on the principles of truthfulness, respect for complexity, and mutual responsibility. Community thrives when accountability is held as a central value. I do not ask for income verification. Instead, I trust my clients to choose the tier that most honestly reflects their current financial reality.

Below are guidelines to help you determine which tier is most aligned for you at this time. Please read them carefully and choose with integrity.

Top Tier: $150 hour

This tier reflects the true cost of my services. It is the price I would charge all clients in the absence of a sliding scale.

You likely belong in this tier if you:

  • Have access to financial stability or savings

  • Own property or other appreciating assets

  • Are able to comfortably pay for both needs and wants

  • Spend little time worrying about securing basic necessities

If you experience economic privilege and relative financial ease, this price is for you. Paying at this level helps sustain my work and allows me to continue offering lower tiers to those who need them.

Mid Tier: $120 hour

Low Tier: $80 hour

This tier acknowledges that paying the full cost may create strain or limit access for some folks, while still recognizing a degree of financial stability.

You may belong in this tier if you:

  • Have steady income but are working to pay down debt or build savings

  • Are moving away from paycheck-to-paycheck living

  • Can meet your basic needs without constant stress, but with limited flexibility

If you have access to personal financial support from family, partners, or community, I encourage you to consider those resources before using the sliding scale, as sliding scale availability may limit access for others.

This tier represents a deliberate commitment to accessibility.

You likely belong in this tier if you:

  • Are living paycheck to paycheck

  • Carry significant debt

  • Struggle to consistently meet needs such as housing, food, healthcare, or childcare

  • Would not be able to access these services without intentional financial accommodation

Your contribution at this tier is equally valued and honored as an economic offering within this community.

If even the low tier is prohibitive, please reach out. I am open to discussing extended payment plans or other supportive solutions whenever possible.

A Note on Care, Trust & Sustainability

Please note: All appointments are initially priced at the Top Tier. This allows the booking system to function smoothly.
